An Unbelievable #43

It's hard to imagine, but I have read 43 books so far this year! And I'm not even counting the various books that I started and couldn't finish (because I just couldn't stand the writing or whatever.) Number 43 was a very special book - Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. Described as his coming of age novel, all I can say is that I wish I could know myself as well now as he did at twenty. He is an amazing writer and an incredibly interesting and observant person.

Every book of his that I've read has felt perfect - but has also left me with that sadness readers get when a loved book is finished. The one good thing is that he has written a lot of books and I plan on savoring each and every one.
