What a Wonderful Family!

The family reunion at Sunriver couldn't have been more perfect. It was just plain wonderful. I had never been there - and now I can understand why so many people rave about it for this type of occasion.

I don't know what I liked the best. I think it was the relaxed way we were able to visit with each other. Relaxed for me, I guess, because we didn't host one of the dinners - and I'm glad, too, since we could have never done as fabulous a job as the three who did!

I loved meeting Beth, and seeing Brian again. I loved hanging out with Wendy and Polk. I loved riding bikes with Erica and Owen. I loved relaxing by the pool with a various relatives. I loved hot tubbing at the end of a long day. There is just way too much to list!

Once the Sunriver aura has worn off I'll write something more insightful about families and what it means to me to be aware of the responsibility of each generation to pass along our shared heritage. (more pictures on family reunion page)
