I guess I did do a few chores today...a load of laundry, a bunch of ironing, exercised, worked on the KP News, and other odds and ends, but for most of the day I sat in the sun on the deck or in the shade in the hanging chair, reading. I pretty much read the entire book - Dry. by Augusten Burroughs. (book #52) It is a mesmerizing read about a gay NYC ad agency creative who hits bottom and works his way through recovery. But it is more than that - it is book about surviving crazy family, how to recognize love when you see it, and the empowerment that comes with gaining control over your life.
