It pounded rain for most of the day today so chores inside were the order of the day. I spent some time looking through old photos on the computer and found a wonderful picture of Angus and Lucy...as well as a great one of Tiko. Check them out!
The best picture of the day, though, is Paul's newest tattoo, a tiger on his calf. This is the first tattoo that he has started from the beginning with a vision and followed it through. The picture you see here is of the brand new tattoo - the colors will deepen and the tiger's chest will look white where right now it is red.
Paul's first tattoo was a blurry bird that he got on his arm in the 1970's. He had that covered up a few years ago with a koi fish. Then he realized the koi was too small so he had more fish and flowers incorporated into it so that his upper arm was covered. (In tattoo lingo that's called a half sleeve) Here it is in progress, and here it is complete.
Then he decided he wanted a dragon on his other arm. This, too turned out to be too small so he had the dragon incorporated into a geisha with more flowers.
At some point he decided to also get a crane on one side of his chest and a chrysanthemum on the other, with an om symbol in between.
We also both got wedding rings tattooed on, but we won't put up any pictures of them! I have only the one tattoo, a beautiful bracelet on my right wrist.
We don't think we're crazy....we are just having fun!
