Work in progress

I know there are only probably 3 people in the world that look at this blog, but I wanted to show the beautiful progress on Paul's tattoo. He started out with a blurry blue bird - a tattoo that he had done more than thirty years ago. He decided that he wanted to get a cover-up tattoo, and because he favors the Japanese style, chose a koi. He had that one done in Tacoma, and was pleased enough at first. But then he decided it wasn't quite enough. He wanted the koi to be incorporated into a full Japanese style sleeve, and he found the perfect person to do it, in Seattle. So far we have had a consultation and a three hour session to get it this far. We have six more hours booked....part of which is time for me to consult with her about a possible bracelet tattoo for me. Are we having fun? Yes.
