I'm back at it

Weed whacking blackberries, that is. I couldn't resist an area on the property where the blackberries are so out of control they are climbing way up in the trees. It seems like a solid wall of blackberries. I keep them sheared with the string trimmer so that Paul can mow next to them without their thorny embrace, but this weekend I decided they have to go! I put the blade on the Honda and headed in. The area is right by a seasonally wet area on our property and my plan is to whack them down and then plant some gunnera and other bog loving plants. I only spent about an hour at it today, but I am considering this my summer project. Doesn't everyone need a summer weed whacking project?
