It's so beautiful here

This has been a difficult spring - every time the weather is nice, it is time for me to go to work or to some other appointment. And it has been raining so much that I am frustrated with my lack of progress in the garden. The greenhouse is full of starts that want to get out and into the ground. Most of my seeds this year are from Seed Savers Exchange - heirloom varieties of vegies that have not had the flavor bred out of them in exchange for other qualities. I am most excited about the many varieties of melons and tomatoes I have going. BUT I need the weather to cooperate. Of course, it's sunny right now, and looks like it will be a beautiful day. It's also Monday morning, though, and I need to leave for work in an hour.
